Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Translate product vision into prioritized and deliverable epics and user stories
  • Develop functional requirements documents such as process flows, screen mock-ups, gap analysis, and more
  • Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality testing
  • Identify and assist in resolving issues, questions, and scope/requirement gaps quickly and effectively
  • Create documents and other artifacts to promote sustainable knowledge management for use within and outside of the organization
  • Drive continuous improvement; share lessons learned and contribute to the development of the agile practices
  • Facilitate and guide product planning, stakeholder interactions, and demos
  • Complete support issue root cause analysis using various issue identification techniques – source data analysis (reading raw ANSI 835 and 837P, 837I), application troubleshooting, and data queries
  • Act as a liaison between development and internal teams (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Implementation, Sales, and Product Management) to resolve major support issues
  • Manage the development support process by conducting bi-weekly meeting with Customer Support to review open issues, prioritize the support back-log, and communicate to clients and Customer Support the status of the issue resolution
  • Complete root cause analysis of major reoccurring issues and create processes and development resolution plans to prevent the issue from occurring again
  • Develop an issue resolution knowledge base for use by Customer Support of RemitDATA’s direct customers and its resell partners
  • Develop issue resolution training curriculum and lead training sessions for RemitDATA’s direct customers and its resell partners

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a numerate or healthcare field
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Access, Excel, Visio, and Project
  • Experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban, preferred
  • Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, and find solutions to them independently in a timely manner
  • Great knowledge of IT processes and the willingness to constantly update knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to carry out tasks with little to no supervision
